I’ve seen Dr. Rasmussen at another practice before and he’s very welcoming. He’s very calming. When you come here, he makes it easy for you. One of the main things that I noticed is it’s a beautiful practice. He’s put in a lot of work to it, thinking about his clients. He explains everything that he’s going to do. If he sees something wrong, he explains what’s wrong and he will not give up until he finds something to make it easier for you and more comforting to you. When you go to a dentist, like I said, before you go to a dentist you’re kind of very nervous, he’s very welcoming and he just treats you like you want to be treated.

First and foremost, they make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Like you’re just…like you’re part of the family here. When you can walk into a practice, and the anxiety is gone, and you feel comfortable and relaxed, that’s number one. This is the best dental care I have ever received. When you walk in the door, when you get that feeling that you’re welcomed immediately by the smiles, by the genuineness of the people, it immediately puts you at ease. And of course, you know, the history with dentists, there’s a lot of anxiety. And if you can reduce that immediately, you eliminate a lot of that fear. When I had an issue, I called, it was, “Call me anytime.” I think it’s always important to have ease of access to services because it…you know, when you have a dental problem, it hurts. When you have a dental problem, it can cause a lot of issues and problems. So getting that taken care of right away is important.

It’s how the practitioner and how the staff approach that. And they want to make sure you’re comfortable. They want to make sure that you don’t have pain. Constantly asking those questions and making you feel comfortable. When you’re sitting in the chair, and beads of sweat are rolling down your face because you don’t know what’s going to happen, they explain those things to you. The comfort level that you have here is outstanding. You’d be crazy not to go because it’s the best dental experience you’ll ever have. I don’t see why people would go someplace else.

My wife and I recently moved back to Valley, and we’re looking at something a little bit closer to home, and Devon checked all the right boxes. He’s a great guy that you really want to succeed in life and in business, and the way he treats his clients, his patients, he really puts it all together to make sure that we feel at home, and he really tries to get to know you as a person, and wants to really develop that relationship, and just make sure that all his clients are well taken care of, and same with his staff.

He’s the type of person that you really want to succeed. He really cares about you, and just wants to make sure that you’re there, and you’re feeling comfortable and confident, and that you’re getting well taken care of, and he’s just a great guy that he’s happy, he’s nice to be around, and he makes sure that you’re being well taken care of.

Devon and his team are phenomenal at what they do. They really bring that small-town feel to the practice itself. He makes sure to get to know you on a deeper level, and making sure that not only are your teeth being cleaned, but just overall you’re happy, and you’re comfortable when you come in, and your whole family is getting well taken care of. I think people should really just give them a chance because I think once they give them that opportunity, they’re not going to be disappointed.

Growing up, I never had great teeth. And so, almost every time I went into the dentist, there was always something that needed to be done. Growing up that way and having a lot of anxiety about the procedures themselves, that was really hard to overcome. I knew I had a lot of work that needed to be done, but it was anxiety-inducing to deal with it. I actually ended up with a broken tooth, and that’s what really got me in here. When I came in and he’s like, here’s what we can do for you. This is what needs to happen. Once we get this taken care of, then we can go through and decide what to do with everything else. And he just took everything step by step, and explained everything along the way, which really helped with some of my anxiety coming back to a dentist. I have to laugh because watching “The Office” is kind of like my stress relief, and so, having something like that available during procedures to take your mind off of that was really helpful.

Don’t wait until your tooth is broken to come in because then it will be worse in the long run. Even if you do wait that long, they just really do treat you with kindness and compassion, and he’s as gentle as he possibly can be in that scenario. And he was always very good at making sure every step of the way was as comfortable as could be.

I really enjoy coming here, even though it’s a dental office. I’ve always felt very welcome by the reception people. It just makes it very comfortable coming here. They seem to care about what’s happening with you. You get the feeling that they’re there to help you and make you comfortable. My first visit here, I had a special event coming up with a short amount of time to be done what I wanted done with my teeth. And I came in and asked, do you think this is something we can have done by then? And he says, we will work with you to get it done. And we did. And it was wonderful because I felt great when I went to the event.

I didn’t know what was going on with my tooth. I mean, I just knew that my gums hurt. I always felt like there was something underneath of that tooth. And so when I came in, he immediately knew what it was and it felt absolutely wonderful when I walked out the door. Making sure that patients are comfortable and they’re relaxed and that the issue is taken care of and taken care of with relative ease, I think, are all good reasons that I’ll be here for the longevity.

You know, I like to feel like when I have a dental issue that it’s a priority. And when you walk in the door here, Devon and his staff make you feel like it’s a priority, that you are a priority. And they treat you like that. They’re great listeners. They listen to you, listen to what’s going on, talk through it, make you feel comfortable, relaxed. That’s the type of practice that I think most people would want. Most people would enjoy those type of interactions with the dental office, the team, the dentist, etc.

I knew for a while that I needed some dental work, whether it was just cavities or, you know, whatever was going on. But I had a broken tooth. I had kind of put it off for a while because I had anxiety with dentists, and so, it really started hurting. And so, that’s when I came in. I came in early one morning, and then that afternoon he was actually able to go in and do a root canal that same day. It was really nice for my anxiety to not have to sit there and know, oh, I’ve got two weeks of worrying about this. And so, he really was able to schedule as much as he could for me because I had other work that needed to be done within the same appointment without it being a full day’s work of dental treatment. So, he did a really good job at keeping my time in mind and getting things done in a timely manner at the same time. Kind and caring in everything that I was going through with the pain. It was just really easy for me to come in and trust him to get it done. I mean, it was a pretty easy decision to trust him to keep going.

Had some teeth removed previously, so I was sitting with very few teeth on the top, and it was really important for me to get that all taken care of before a event we had in February. So, he got me a blanket to help me keep me warm one time back there, and that helped a lot. And I think it might have been, you know, a little anxiety, but it wasn’t bad at all. I would highly recommend this practice. I think they are exceptional. They made it a lot easier to go to work.

Well, I’ve been to a lot of different dentists all over the place, and this is hands down the best dentist I’ve been to. The best thing is it’s a hometown practice and the doctor’s great. So, I came in here and needed a dentist pretty bad and he helped me out, got me in, and took care of me. They’re very personable, they’re just great to work with in general. Dr. Devon’s great. He takes care of me. Very understanding, very worried about if it’s going all right if you get any pain or anything like that. Very informative when he follows up with you. You know, so, there was an instance when I was on vacation and I called him, and I had an issue, and he was on vacation as well, and still took care of me. So, everybody else, they kind of push you off to the side, and they don’t do that here.
